  • I’ve installed my AAS alarm about three weeks ago. Installation is easy, the motion detector sensors works very well, my cat and my little dog doesn’t active it as the previous alarm system that I have. The remote works well, and also the phone notification.

In few words, the product works as indicated.

  • First, I was skeptical because the online info and documentation was limited. I made the gamble due to good reviews. I am happy to report that it is a good product. Packaging was light, OEM style. Instructions were simple and easy to follow; but lacked specifications and some function descriptions. Still not sure about the “anti-interference defense” feature, but figured out the difference between “home” and “away” mode. All of the systems appear to be the same; some with more or less sensors. Overall the system performed as stated; very good DIY value!

    Pro:

All the parts and features came as stated (the siren is the size of a fist and it’s white; not red & black as pictured)

Very good range on sensors and controls – with antennas that can be pull out to extent the range

AC powered plus rechargeable battery in the control unit – other sensors are powered by common batteries.

The nonadjustable siren is very loud, like fire alarm, and the construction looks like it could be placed outside, if protected from weather

4 handy “key fob” (car remote size) has 4 buttons, lock (armed/away), unlock, home, and panic. the difference between “home” and “away” is “home” deactivates IR / motion sensors and the alarm will sound if the door / window sensors tripped. “panic” activates the alarm and the control unit will call the 6 user programmed phone numbers.

Wireless! You can take this alarm system WITH you; hotels, warehouse, summer cabin. or create cross Motion IR sensors to eliminate blind spots

    Con:

Siren wire(connected to control unit), about 3ft, is short and piercing siren volume is nonadjustable; I was told they have optional wireless siren

    No warning stickers or signs

limited descriptions (you will have questions)

The keypad control is common size; the Motion IR sensors is palm size; the door sensors are a bit large, 2″x3″ size.

One door sensor did not work. I call the company and the lady was very pleasant and promised she will send me the replacement.

Setup, testing and planning took most of the 2 hour installation time. The actual installation took 15 min. thanks to taped-on door sensors. The tape is strong, make sure you do it right the first time.

  • Great Product, easy installation, wireless no tethering so motion sensor can be placed anywhere or adjusted. Delivery took about a week which maybe due to bad weather in the East. More details would be helpful in the manuals. For example, this is my first home alarm and I have no idea what the difference is between arming the system as ‘away’ versus ‘home’.
